Care Instructions: Biothane is ultra low-maintenance and built for everyday messes:

  • Rinse or wipe clean with warm water and mild soap.

  • No conditioner or oil needed—biothane stays flexible and strong without extra treatment.

  • Safe for water, mud, and adventure—just towel dry after exposure for best results.

  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing to preserve the finish.

    - Biothane gives the look of leather with none of the fuss—perfect for active dogs and easy living.

If your leash comes into contact with an especially smelly substance (like skunk spray), create a paste by mixing hydrogen peroxide, dawn dish soap and baking soda; allow to sit in mixture, rinse and repeat as needed.

If your pet will have exposure to chlorinated or salt water while wearing our products, we recommend rinsing them with fresh water after exposure to enhance the hardware’s longevity.
